Project: Food Budget, Week 13

Budget: $75
Actual: $73.83

Success! I actually didn’t buy that much this week…half of that money was spent at Costco on delicious grapes (sooo many grapes to eat…), maple syrup, organic spinach, whole wheat wraps, and OJ for hubs. The rest was divvied up amongst some TJ faves: tons of fruits and veg, a couple spreads, and milks (soy for me, dairy for Hubs). I spent over $30 on produce this week, so my fridge and freezer are well stocked!

This week, I’ll be munching on: butternut squash (super excited about this), portobello ‘shrooms, asparagus (one of few green things Hubs willingly eats), broc & cauli, brussel sprouts (yum-o!), and lots of fruit that are not exciting enough to mention. I sense a stir fry and lots of roasting in my near future…

Happy eating to all! And Go Tigers! And Red Wings…always 🙂
